Memorial Services
When a
person passes on it is natural for family and friends to gather to
share their grief and to celebrate the life of their loved one. Our
memorial service provides comfort and hope with a message that emphasizes
the eternality of life. Our Sr. Minister and our Memorial Counselor
will work with you to provide loving support and to create a fitting
tribute to your loved one. A calm and reflective setting for a loved-ones’
memorial is provided by our lovely sanctuary and its magnificent Tower
of Light, or in our Inspirational Chapel. The Sanctuary accommodates
350 guests; the chapel seats 50. Either facility may be reserved for
a memorial service by contacting the Memorial Counselor.
Music
The church
provides an experienced organist and soloists. The music staff will
work with you to select music that is both appropriate and meaningful
to you. In addition, you are invited to provide your own soloist -
vocal or instrumental. An audiotape of the service will be provided
to the family after the service. As the music presented before, during,
and after the memorial is expected to be of the highest quality, outside
soloists require the church's prior approval.
Flowers
Arrangements are available for either setting
through the church florist, or may be provided by an outside source.
Reception
The church
offers a full reception service, or a quaint coffee and punch service.
For more information about services provided follow the Receptions
link under Ceremonies. Families are also welcome to provide their
own food service, though no outside caterers are permitted.
Members
Memorial
services for church members may be provided at no cost to the family
of the member. Details are available through the Memorial Counselor.
